A 2019 policy resolution that calls for the AAFP to support ensuring coverage of all Food and Drug Administration-approved contraceptive drugs, devices, and products as well as voluntary sterilization procedures by private and public entities as part of a minimum benefits plan.

The resolution was reaffirmed as current policy by the 2019 Congress of Delegates.
